Hmm, can't say I've ever been lucky enough to find this many people close to my age as into the Moody Blues as I am! I suppose I should introduce myself, hmm? I'm 21 from Baltimore and have loved the moody blues since I was about 5. I, like most people, had a parent that was obsessed with them and that's how I found them =) My dad and I have shared a love of the Moodies ever since I can remember and have been to 6 of their concerts together with the most recent one being a few weeks ago at their Wolf Trap concert. I was able to surprise my dad with 3rd row pit seats and he almost had a heart attack right then when he saw that =) All my life he'd always done that sort of thing to me so I figured I'd return the favor =)

I suppose that's all there is to say, I'd have to say that my favorite song of all time, not just of theirs, is I Know You're Out There but there are many many more that I am absolutely in love with. The thing about the Moodies that I love so much is their depth and ability to send message with their lyrics and convey a feeling with their music. It's like nothing I've ever heard before and it's one of the reasons I love them so much =)

I'm actually listening to one of Ray's solo albums that I bought off of Ebay called Hopes, Wishes and Dreams it's not as good as his Moodies stuff but it's still very good. Also, I jsut received a DVD from The Moody Mall entitled "An Evening with Justin Hayward Live at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame" but I'm waiting until my dad and I can watch it together before I rip it open (which believe me is difficult)

Alright, that's all for now, but by chance does anyone have any Moodies icons? I'm always looking for them but can never find em ;)

Thanks everyone!
